Feature

Our spark plug thread repair kit with M14-1.25 inserts is compatible with compatible for Ford vehicles from 1996 to 2003. It includes Replacement Inserts, Part No. 389-100. This kit is designed for use on 4.6L, 5.4L, and 6.8L V-10 two-valve engines.
The 38900 thread repair tool fixes the frequent problem of damaged heads from blown spark plugs by replacing the inserts.

Note

*The rotary head of screw tap, twist drill usually needs to be coated with anti-rust oil for maintenance, if it is not used for a long time, anti-rust oil should be applied before storage to prevent rust during long-term storage.
*Please make sure the car model matches our products before purchasing.
*To avoid damage, use a cylinder leak detector to make sure the valve is closed before repairing.
Spark plug shavings can damage the engine, recommend to use a compressed air nozzle to blow the shavings out of the cylinder and a borescope make the cylinder clear.
